I think and design in 3D throughout the whole process. PCBs are checked against enclosures in-progress, and the assembly strategy is built in from the very beginning. A PCB that doesn’t fit in the intended enclosure is an all too common and totally avoidable mistake that I guard against by keeping the two design disciplines tightly coupled.

I can design plastic and metal parts or help identify off-the-shelf components where appropriate. I have deep experience in mechanical DFM: all the little tricks that separate a cool box from something a shop can actually produce at a reasonable price.

I can help prototype parts and can help organize any level of fabrication from one-off 3D printing to test an idea through to mass production of machined or molded parts.
